About JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes

JCI Hong Kong Jayceettes (Hong Kong Jayceettes) is one of the 21 local chapters of the Junior Chamber International Hong Kong (JCIHK), which is affiliated with the worldwide leadership organization, Junior Chamber International (JCI). Hong Kong Jayceettes emerged as a local chapter in October 1969. At the time of establishment, we were the first lady chapter in Asia and the second in the world. Membership is open to ladies aged between 18 and 40. Currently, we have around 135 members with different professions. All of our members are sharing the common belief of contributing to the betterment of the community and developing skills and social responsibility to create positive change. This is attained through the four areas of opportunity, namely Individual, Community, International and Business.

Junior Chamber International Hong Kong (JCIHK), inaugurated in 1950, is affiliated with the worldwide leadership development organization – The Junior Chamber International (JCI). JCI has a worldwide membership of over 200,000 throughout 120 member nations. In Hong Kong, we have about 1,600 members representing a network of highly motivated and forward looking young men and women who are mostly entrepreneurs or executives from a wide range of trades and businesses.

The purpose of JCIHK is to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for the young people to develop their leadership skills, social responsibility, entrepreneurship, and fellowship necessary to create positive changes. It is attained through the fourareas of opportunity, including the individual, international, community and business opportunities. Our members aim to make full use of their leisure hours to work for the betterment of the community and themselves.
